The world now necessitates a new way of thinking that would push humanity to think beyond the narrow and limited boundaries of the 'Self' in relation to the 'Other'. I think the Muslim world has been for a long time marginalized not only by the West but also by itself; it has been a common idea among the Arab people that anything strange is necessarily grotesque. This idea has prevailed for a long time and has been engraved in the memories of the upcoming generation, but with the advent of the technological devices and the New Technologies the world is now witnessing an unprecedented era or rather revolution which is transgressing all the historical and geographical specificities.

Mauritania, of course, is not an exception from the rule; in the last decades there was a great and drastic change in the way of life, the nomadic life has been forced to cohabit with the technological advancement, this has been a kind of popular deception when a prehistoric society is abruptly introduced to the latest achievement of nano-technology.

Now, in Mauritania, the new generation is taking advantage of this revolution that would help into reshaping and reconsider the future within the constraints of time, deciding to take the responsibility of holding their destinies in their hands. Through visionalizing that their future should be in their hands.

The overwhelming majority of the world today is under thirty years old and this youth is aware of the necessity to reshape the world and maintain the mutual respect and understanding through rejecting violence and terrorism. The world now in a desperate need more than any time before for dialogue and respect. It is, however, worth mentioning that in the United States Islam is a respected religion, there are more than six million Muslims and almost in every state there is a mosque. America is a place of freedom and a place where all religions co-exist and share respect.
